James M. Linsao

Over the past twenty years, James Linsao has held both in-house and private practice roles advising and representing insurance industry clients in Washington, D.C, Los Angeles and London regarding a broad range of insurance coverage, regulatory and corporate legal matters. He is an accomplished insurance coverage litigator and has worked in the Lloyd’s market for the past ten years.
Chief Risk Officer
Mark was appointed in April 2012, with responsibility for Actuarial, Risk Management and Exposure Management. Prior to joining Mark headed his own company Acuitas Consulting Ltd and provided consultancy services to Antares in respect of its Solvency II implementation. Mark previously spent 10 years working for Chaucer Holdings PLC, initially as Group Actuary and later as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to his time at Chaucer, Mark was Chief Actuary at Ashley Palmer Ltd.
tephen commenced his career in insurance in 1975 when he joined the General Accident group. He started in the Branch / Agency section before moving to the reinsurance department in 1978. He then moved to the marine underwriting room in 1980. Stephen was promoted to the position of Assistant Marine Underwriter in 1982 and then to Hull, Energy and Liability Manager in 1986.
