Interlloyd Averij B.V. is an Interlloyd Group Company and the Lloyd's Agent for the Netherlands. Our main activities are marine surveys (cargo and hull), project cargo, claims adjusting and recoveries. We have a dedicated surveying staff (Cargo and Hull & Machinery) plus specialists involved in claims adjusting and recoveries. Our services are extended to appointing lawyers, supervising, providing guarantees, intensive contacts with Dutch authorities, such as the Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management (Rijkswaterstaat), Dutch provinces.

Background: Worked for a mechanical engineering office and at the design office of a shipyard. Became surveyor in 1992. Since a variety on survey work has been carried out in the technical field. Specialized in ship building and repair (seagoing and inland), mechanical engineering, (stevedores-) liability, nautical survey, offshore vessels and installations, dredging vessels, fishery, (heavy) machinery, salvage and recovery, P&I matters and oil pollution, arbitration and expert (witness) actions in court.

Experienced to load vessels with RO-RO material, check, interpret and implement stow plans. Check RO-RO material and Mafi's for correct and sufficient lashing and securing. Knowledge of Surveys regarding: Bulk cargoes, Commodities and Foodstuffs.
