Based in Lymington on the South Coast of England, Chris Wilks is an independent marine surveyor and engineer with over 28 years experience in the industry. Construction and Repair of a wide range of craft comprising GRP, Carbon-fibre, Wood and Steel. In recent years Chris has put his considerable expertise to good use as a marine surveyor and is a qualified member of the following institutions: The International Institute of Marine Surveyors. The Institute of Diagnostic Engineers. He is a Registered Marine Surveyor and has full liability and indemnity insurance. Although dealing with all types and sizes of craft, Chris’s particular speciality is with private and small commercial power and sailing yachts which require pre-purchase, pre delivery or insurance surveys, in addition to production monitoring and quality control. Although most of his work is concentrated on the South Coast of England, Chris travels to all parts of the UK as well as periodic trips to the wider continent of Europe and the occasional visit further afield.
